I find it really amazing at how similar these photographs are. While I was searching for Sally’s pictures I came across this one of her husband, and it immediately made me think of the picture I took of my friend Suzanne.

Although these photographs do not looks similar, I think that they both have a very feminine quality about them.

Both images have that misty look to them, and the fact that they both have a central focus, also makes them similar.

All three images are portraits of young girls, and they all have a certain stare. Sally’s portraits are more moody than mine is, but to me they all have a very captivating look.

Both images show the bark of a tree, and show the imperfections in the bark. I like the darkened vignette edges on Sally’s photograph, and how that brings the attention to the center of the photo.
